Thanks for taking the time to get to know me a little better. My name is Matthew Lucas and I am a Professional DJ and Physical Therapist. If I am not at the hospital helping patients recover for lasting function, I am DJing helping clients and guests make lasting memories. Originally, I am from Maryland and was raised in a Guyanese household. Music has been a passion of mine since a young age. Starting in the school band from elementary to middle school, and transitioning to a traveling steel drum band in high school. My passion for music never ceased and I transitioned to DJing during graduate school and have not slowed down since.

Why DJ GONI?

The name “DJ Goni” originated from the tool physical therapists use to measure joint range of motion, a goniometer. The dedication and commitment necessary to be succesful in PT School is mandatory in the practice of DJing. Enthusiasm, energy, and skill is what DJ Goni offers to every event, with the purpose of making it one for the ages.
